Description of the Official Seal of the Lodge Aurora

- COMPASSES – is the symbol of the Vrsac Hill with the Tower standing on
the top of it. Capital letter A is the initial of the name of our Lodge
AURORA. The color BLUE is one of three colors on our national flag.
- SQUARE – pointing downwords forms the capital letter V which is the
initial of the name of our town – Vrsac. The color RED is one of the colors
on our national flag.
- THE TOWER on the top of the compasses (Vrsac Hill), has three perfect
stones on the top symbolical of the THREE DEGREES of the Craft Freemasonry.
- THE AURA around the Sun, behind the Vrsac Hill and the Tower, is
symbolical of the Sun on the East at dawn, or of the AURORA ( which is the
name of our Lodge)
- THE SEVEN SUN RAYS are symbols of the seven founding members of the
Lodge. The longest middle ray stands for the founding Master; the four rays
stand for the FOUR BEARERS OF LIGHT; and last two rays stand for the last
two founding Brothers.
- G – Letter G, whose symbolism is known to us has yet another meaning: it
represents (G)RAPE WINE (depicted in the back of the letter G), whose
cultivation has a long standing tradition in the area of Vrsac and in the
whole Banat Region. The color WHITE is the third color on our national flag.
- TWENTY THREE GRAPES on the wine represent the No. 23, under which number
our Lodge is recorded in the primarily list of the lodges under RGLS.
- SINGLE WINE BRANCH represents the unity of all serbian Lodges under the
leadership of the RGLS.
- BLUE SKY represents nice weather, God’s speed and good luck.
- GREEN BACKGROUND alludes on the fertile Banat soil.
- UPPER EDGE OF THE CIRCLE represents the sky, where we can find initials
of the Regular Grand Lodge of Serbia, under which authority our Lodge works,
written in both latin and cirilic alphabet.
- THE ALL SEEING EYE symbolizes the constant presence of the Divine
control through the great works of the Great Architect of the Universe.
- THE COLUMNS ( J. & B.), one on the left and the other on the right side
of the circle, are symbolicly supporting the sky and heavens (the upper part
of the circle), while at the same time their bases represent the begining
and the end of the incription denoting the time and the place of the
establishment of the Lodge Aurora ( both in cirilic and latin alphabet)
